About Maribor

Maribor is situated in the northeastern part of Slovenia, called Styria (Slovenian: Štajerska). The city is located next to the green hills of Pohorje and is divided in half by the Drava River. The city centre is small and almost everything can be reached within walking distance. The oldest vine in the world, boasting an age of more than 450 years, old buildings and vivid streets with live music during the weekends, beautiful parks, sitting on the river bench and drinking coffee or good wine, hiking the Pohorje mountain range and much more can be found or done in Maribor.
